UAA Student Union Gallery presents 24hour Comic-Athon

Opening Celebration: Monday, July 20, 4-5:30 p.m.
Show Dates: July 20-Aug. 7
Gallery Hours: Monday-Friday: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

The 24Hour Comic-Athon is an exhibition of sequential comic artwork. Comic-Athon is an intense creation process where participants create a comic book in one 24-hour period. Student participants were locked in the Student Union Gallery from 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15 through 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 to create an original comic. The resulting narrative and artwork will be displayed in the Student Union Gallery from July 20-Aug. 7.

The opening celebration and comic debut will be Monday July 20 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Student Union Gallery. The Student Union Gallery is located on the second floor of the Student Union Building on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus.
