Fall 2009: CAFE offers Nourishing and Nurturing New Faculty

All new faculty members are invited to attend "Nourishing and Nurturing New Faculty" today, Sept. 11 from 8:30-10 a.m. in the UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 306. The event provides new faculty with an opportunity to strengthen newly formed peer networks, hear about some additional support resources, and learn from the experiences of second-year faculty panelists.

The event will begin with an informal gathering at 8:30 a.m. (the nourishing), which will be followed by short presentations on additional resources and a panel of second-year faculty offering guidance based on their experiences (the nurturing).

As with most of CAFE's New Faculty Best Practice Series events, we will open eLive sessions if one or more faculty members on any of the community campuses request it.
