Fall 2009: Residence Life hosts first annual 'Move-In Resource Fair'

The Department of Residence Life is hosting the 1st Annual UAA Student Move-In Resource Fair (SMIRF) Thursday and Friday, Aug. 20-21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Lee Gorsuch Commons. The idea is the brain child of Maria Bonifacio, associate director of Residence Life and Karla Booth, coordinator for the Alaska Native and Rural Outreach Program (ANROP). It is a fabulous opportunity for different departments, clubs and programs on campus to get word of their offerings and opportunities out to residential students. This year about 20 tables will be hosted with lots of good information available. You are encouraged to stop by to introduce yourself while you meet and greet members of our incoming residential community!
