Pilot Bread Connection: An Alaska Native college student gathering

All are invited to attend the "Pilot Bread Connection: An Alaska Native College Student Gathering" on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the UAA Lee Gorsuch Commons. The gathering will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The goal is to bring Alaska Native, Native American, and Indigenous students together to build friendships, learn about our cultures and have fun. There will be large group activities as well as presentations and discussions about Alaska Native dancing, Alaska Native games, subsistence in Anchorage, defining the Alaska Federation of Natives and First Alaskans Institute, decolonization, urban basketball and more.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. No one will be turned away at the door. If you register by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11 you will be entered to win a Laura Wright Parky (kuspuk) of your choice.
