The Forty-Ninth State Fellows Program of the UAA Honors College presents the annual Constitution Day Polaris Lecture this evening, Sept. 17, in the UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307 at 7:30 p.m. Anchorage Attorney Doug Pope will speak on "Why the Constitution Is Important to You." Mr. Pope will address several challenges to American government which have risen to the level of constitutional debate, with important consequences for American freedom.
The lecture is free and open to the student body and general public.
