Fall 2009: Forum on 'Are YOU in touch with your Alaska Native heritage?'

The First Alaskans Elder Youth Conference will feature its first forum in a series called "Warriors for a New Era." The session is Monday, Oct. 19 from 1:30-4:45 p.m. at the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center, 555 W. 5th Ave. Alaska Native Elders and leaders will share their experiences to help a new generation survive and thrive in the 21st century.

This event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Alaska Humanities Forum and the University of Alaska Anchorage.
