Professor Alan Boraas will speak on indigenous language extinction on Oct. 23, 2009

The UAA Anthropology Club is proud to welcome Professor Alan Boraas to the UAA campus. Professor Boraas will speak about "What Mammoth and Indigenous Language Extinction Have in Common: Sapir-Whorf and the Dena'ina Language." His presentation will begin at 3 p.m. today, Oct. 23 in BMH, room 104. This talk is free and open to the public. Snacks and soda will be provided.
