UAA Opera Ensemble gets its Broadway on with an 'Eclectic Cabaret' on Nov. 14

The UAA Opera Ensemble presents an Eclectic Cabaret! A program of eclectic and electric Broadway favorites from shows that span more than 50 years: Anything Goes to La Cage aux Folles. Featured numbers from "Sunday in the Park with George," "Avenue Q," "Moulin Rouge" and the classic "Bosom Buddies," interpreted by two faculty members from music and theater, all presented in an up close and personal cabaret style, around tables in the Student Union Den.

This is the annual Opera Ensemble fundraiser with a musical theater twist. It will be accompanied by a dip buffet with a molten chocolate fountain centerpiece. There will also be a silent auction with handcrafted items and certificates for local restaurants, gift shops, cruises and beauty spas.

Tickets $5 for UAA students, $10 for seniors and other students, and $15 for general admission. Tickets are available at the door.
