TONIGHT: Ahn-Plugged offers a workshop and demonstration of their innovative chamber music on March 4

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Thursday, March 4, 7:30 p.m.

Student Union

From Dvorak to The Doors, the Ahn Trio is redefining the art and architecture of chamber music, breathing new life into the standard piano-trio literature. Sisters Lucia, Angella, and Maria thrive on dissolving the barriers between art forms. They have fused their work with that of dancers, pop singers, DJ's, painters, installation artists, photographers, lighting designers, ecologists, and even kite makers. It is precisely this vitality and commitment to innovation that has the Ahn Trio continually drawing new audiences to classical music.

UAA students enter free with a valid UAA student ID. General public tickets are $5 at the door.

This event is presented by UAA Student Activities and the Anchorage Concert Association. For more information about this or other Student Activities events, please call (907) 786-1219, e-mail  <kerry@uaa.alaska.edu or visit our Web site.
