Friday, April 23, 6:30 p.m. Rasmuson Hall, Room 110

The University of Alaska Anchorage Political Science Association (PSA) is hosting 'Gubernatorial Candidate Q & A' on Friday, April 23. The debate will take place in the Rasmuson Hall, Room 110.

Recently, the University of Alaska Board of Regents have proposed tuition increases and there was a three-campus-wide protest because of this. In light of these incidents, PSA is hosting a 'Gubernatorial Candidate Q & A' so that way students can ask questions and hear what the next Governor of Alaska plans for the University of Alaska as a whole and more specifically UAA.

The candidates who will be at the gubernatorial question and answer session are: Ethan Berkowitz, Bob Poe, Hollis French, Bill Walker and Ralph Samuels.

The doors open at 6 p.m. and the debate will start at 6:30 p.m. There will be a one-hour reception to follow.

For more information about the debate, please contact Tracey Alexander, secretary of the UAA Political Science Association, at danceittracey@gci.net.
