by Kathleen McCoy  |

USUAA Spring 2010 General Elections will be conducted online for the first time. The online USUAA Spring 2010 General Elections ballots will be available Tuesday, April 6 at 12:01 a.m. and close Wednesday, April 7 at 11:59 p.m. Campus voting stations are located in the Student Union, Commons, Rasmuson Hall, and the Social Sciences Building from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 6 and 7. Students will elect the new USUAA President, Vice President, Senators, Concert Board Members and Media Board Members.

When elected, candidates pursuing leadership positions through the Union of Students will help establish and review policies and procedures that affect the campus community. Election Board has been working with all candidates to ensure campaigns are being conducted in accordance with USUAA policy and that each candidate has an opportunity to connect with potential student voters. Using electric ballots is more sustainable and will generate election results faster. It also offers convenience to students during busy class schedules.

Vote online here. Students will need their UAA username and password. For more information regarding the Spring 2010 General Election Candidates please visit the Candidate Showcase.
