Spring 2010: Art professor Mariano Gonzales will be honored with an Outstanding Individual Artist award

Department of Art chair, associate professor Mariano Gonzales, will receive the Outstanding Individual Artist award at the 10th Annual Mayor's Awards for the Arts event. The award will be presented at a reception at the Anchorage Museum on Wednesday, May 5 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
