This free four-hour workshop is open to the public. Topics include:

  • Effects of alcohol on the developing embryo and fetus
  • Characteristics of FAS/FASDs
  • Prevention of alcohol-exposed pregnancies
  • How individuals with FAS/FASDs are screened and diagnosed
  • Treatments and therapies available for individuals with FAS/FASDs
  • The psycho-social and cultural effects of FASDs
  • Continuing education credits are available ($25.00 processing fee)
