Dr. Judith Owens-Manley is the new director for the Center for Community Engagement and Learning

Please welcome Dr. Judith Owens-Manley as the new director of the Center for Community Engagement and Learning (CCEL). Formerly of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, she brings a deep knowledge of service learning and community-engaged research to UAA, as well as a long history of working with community agencies. Her special area of research has been with Bosnian refugees in the U.S. She has also been a practicing social worker and program evaluation consultant. Feel free to stop by the CCEL offices in Library 211G to say hello and explore ways to expand student learning at UAA.
