Celebrate Filipino American History month this Thursday, Oct. 28 in the Student Union from 6-8 p.m. Past, present and future will come together as we gather to eat Filipino food, enjoy traditional dances from the Philippines and performances from Anchorage Filipino American artists and learn about contemporary issues affecting the Filipino American community.

Featured performers include UAA's Society of Filipino American Students and Hip Hop crew, Junior Dancers of Alaska Federation of Filipino American Inc., Karaligan Folkloric Group of the Filipino Community of Anchorage Alaska Inc., Bryson, A.J. Carino, Hidden Legacy, Roger David, and DJ/Hip Hop Ambassador Victor "DJ Victmaone" Mangrobang. Also brush up on your Filipino American history to win prizes during the Filipino American History Month Trivia game!
