The vision of UAA CI is to become an important center for the cultivation of Alaska-China relations, to provide expertise in Chinese language and culture training, and to be an important resource for our educational institutions.

In celebration of the Chinese Moon Festival, a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese and Vietnamese people dating back over 3,000 years to moon worship in China's Shang Dynasty, the UAA CI presents Chinese Culture Week Oct. 6-10. There will be performances, speakers, activities and film screenings. All events are free and open to the public.
