Consider the convenience of living on campus

University Housing has single-occupancy rooms available for the spring 2011 semester, with openings in both the Main Apartment Complex (MAC) and the Residence Halls.

Vacancies are available any time from January through May, with rates pro-rated as the semester progresses. Rates include all utilities, plus high-speed Internet. On-site laundry, computer labs, fitness center, cafeteria, convenience store and social and academic programming are all located right in the housing complex. Apartment residents are not required to purchase a meal plan, however meal plans are mandatory for students living in the Residence Halls.

Rates range from $2,840 to $3,040 for the semester, with openings available starting Jan. 8. Housing fees can be added to student accounts and follow the same payment deadlines as other university charges.

Visit www.uaa.alaska.edu/housing, call (907) 751-7202 or stop by the Housing Front Desk, located in the Commons at 3700 Sharon Gagnon Lane, for information, rates and a current application.

To live on campus, students must maintain enrollment in a minimum of nine credits throughout the semester. No family housing offered on campus, vacancies are for individual students only. Living on campus keeps you close to your fellow students, your classes, campus organizations and activities. Make a change for the better in 2011!
