The Alaska Cardiovascular Research Foundation has pledged $100,000 to support a project of the Honor's College Undergraduate Research Program Faculty Leadership in Expanding Undergraduate Research (FLEUR) in Health Programs. This exciting contribution to fund FLEUR will help to expand the number of opportunities for undergraduate research in health programs in two ways:

  • Incentivizing faculty to mentor undergraduate students in research.
  • Compensating faculty for integrating undergraduate research into their curriculum within health programs.
