Two-for-one adult tickets for Planetarium's SonicVision

Have you been meaning to catch one of our 10 p.m. SonicVision shows, but just haven't been able to find $10 to cover the adult ticket price? Well you're in luck. For the next few days, $10 will buy you two adult tickets to select 10 p.m. SonicVision show if you buy through www.Groupon.com.

Groupon is a deal-of-the-day website that focuses on your local geographic market. It's free to sign up, and then you'll receive an e-mail each weekday about that day's featured business. The deals are typically 50 percent or more off the regular price of the item(s) being offered.

So if you're a Groupon member in the Anchorage area, you'll receive an e-mail on Monday, Feb. 21 offering you two-for-one adult tickets to the following shows:

"SonicVision" featuring DJ Aqua Black, Friday, Feb. 25, 10 p.m.
Genre: Dreamy Lo-Fi w/ a taste of Delicious Alternative / Artists: Tame Impala, Avey Tare (of Animal Collective), Beach House, etc.

"SonicVision" featuring MC Kennett, Friday, March 18, 10 p.m.
Genre: Electro-Acoustic / Artists: Cut Copy, Animal Collective, Handsome Furs, etc.

"SonicVision" featuring DJ Wildebeest, Friday, April 8, 10 p.m.
Genre: Electronic House / Artists: Justice, Postal Service, original music, etc.

"SonicVision" featuring The Captain, Friday, April 22, 10 p.m.
Genre: Indie and Electronic Soul / Artists: Bloc Party, Legion of Doom, The Faint, etc.

Note that it will still be possible to buy tickets to these shows through www.UAATix.com,  but you'll only get the deal if you go through Groupon.
