Podcast with JP Leous: Climate change means green jobs--just not the ones you imagined
by Kathleen McCoy |
JP Leous is a national climate change policy adviser for The Wilderness Society and plenary speaker for the upcoming Classrooms for Climate conference May 4-7 on UAA's campus. He delivers a strong message of job creation thanks to changing climate: hydrologists, project managers, construction teams, guys on backhoes--all doing restoration and climate smart conservation projects. He speaks Saturday, May 7 at 11:15 a.m. in Lucy Cuddy Hall. Listen to a podcast of JP talking about green jobs here.
