University Sinfonia in concert April 23

The members of Sinfonia are being joined by wind and percussionist from the department and community to present a concert of works by Haydn ("The Seven Last Words of Christ" and Symphony No. 44 in E minor "Mourning") and Shostakoviich (Sinfonia for String Orchestra, Op. 110). This is the last concert of the season for this group and not to be missed. Dr. Tai Wai Li will be conducting the group, with Walter Olivares as concertmaster.
Tickets in advance are $10 general; $5 students, seniors and military; and $2 UAA students with current ID. Day-of-performance tickets are $15, $10, $7. Please contact the UAA Fine Arts Building Box Office at (907) 786-4849.
