Community Engaged Funding Opportunities for fall 2011

The Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) announces two faculty opportunities for fall 2011.

Faculty Mini-grants: A request for proposals is now open for faculty mini-grant funding to conduct community engaged research or to plan and carry out community projects. Awards of up to $2,000 are open to full-time faculty in all UAA schools and colleges and at all campuses.

CESA Program: Faculty may submit applications for students who will work as Community Engaged Student Assistants (CESA) for the fall semester. CESAs are awarded tuition credit waivers to support faculty with their community engaged teaching, research or creative activity.

Application deadlines for both awards are Aug. 26 by noon, or for "early decision," submit by June 17 at noon.
