Join the Elearning Committee to help improve academic technology at UAA

by Jamie Gonzales  |

The Elearning working group is calling for committee members. A subcommittee of the University Technology Council (UTC), Elearn focuses on the use of technology in instruction. By evaluating academic technologies, Elearn makes recommendations on tools and policies to the UTC. This diverse group of dedicated volunteers will work this year to evaluate course management systems and online conferencing tools.

Elearn meets every two weeks and requires some small workgroup time. You can expect to spend 1-2 hours a week working. Elearn's next meeting will be in LIB 214 on Friday, Sept. 9, then again on Friday, Sept. 23. If you are serious about learning tools and interested in volunteering please contact Tina Coulston at (907) 786-4489 or tinac@uaa.alaska.edu.
