Faculty funding opportunities for Fall 2011

The Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) announces two faculty funding opportunities for fall 2011. Application deadline for both awards: Aug. 26 by 12 p.m.

CESA program: Faculty may submit applications for students who will work as Community Engaged Student Assistants (CESA) for the fall semester. CESAs are awarded tuition credit waivers to support faculty with their community engaged teaching, research or creative activity.

Faculty minigrants: A request for proposals is now open for faculty minigrant funding to conduct community engaged research or to plan and carry out community projects. Awards of up to $2,000 are open to full-time faculty in all UAA schools and colleges and at all campuses. For more information and to download an application, please visit the CCEL website.
