USUAA Student Government needs policy makers

by Jamie Gonzales  |

USUAA Student Government is currently seeking students who want to get involved with boards and committees that make major decisions about your university. Serving as a USUAA appointee to boards like the Campus Safety Committee, Undergraduate Academic Board, University Assembly and Media Board (just to name a few) provides great opportunities to gain leadership skills and experience. It also gives you the ability to influence UAA policy recommendations and decisions that affect students, faculty and administration.

To apply online, find out more, and see the full list of over 30 appointment opportunities, check out our website.

Interested applicants must be UAA students enrolled in a minimum of 3 credits, have a 2.5 cumulative GPA and have paid the student government fee.

For questions, contact USUAA President Ryan Buchholdt at aypres@uaa.alaska.edu or by calling (907) 786-1206.
