Campus activities for this week include:
Aug. 29-Sept. 9 Eleven Hundred, an installation at the Student Union Gallery to raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of suicide on college campuses
Sept. 7, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Outreach booths providing resources and information in the Student Union Lobby
Sept. 8, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Outreach booths providing resources and information in the Rasmuson Hall Lobby
Recognize the warning signs of suicide. Warning signs include:
- Withdrawal from friends, family and society
- Dramatic mood changes
- Acting reckless or engaging in risky behaviors
- Increased alcohol and drug use
- Talking about wanting to hurt or kill oneself
