Exciting things are happening in Homer for students who have chosen to take advantage
of the Semester by the Bay program. Marine biology students at UAA's Kenai Peninsula College Kachemak Bay Campus recently assisted in the recovery and necropsy of a whale carcass from Little Tutka
Bay, aided in the release of two rehabilitated seals, happened across some lunge feeding
humpback whales and participated in CoastWalk International.
