Tickets for the upcoming series of "Spontaneous Fantasia" shows by visiting artist J-Walt are now available to the public through both uaatix.com and the UAA Student Union Information Desk. They are $5 for UAA students and $15 for the general public. You will have five show times to choose from: 7 and 8:30 p.m. on both Thursday, Oct. 20 and Friday, Oct. 21, as well as a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Also coming up at the Planetarium on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. is the premiere presentation of "Fractals Rock!" by UAA mathematics instructor Dave Wooten. This will be the first time a true fractals "content expert" is behind the controls, so you can expect to hear some great new insights. And at 8:30 p.m., we've got an encore presentation of "Cosmic Collisions" by Travis Rector. The "live" portion of the show will focus on the populations of asteroids in our solar system, the probability that one of these might hit the Earth and what would happen to us at UAA if one hit, say, Eagle River.
