Nov. 4, 2011: Alaska Natives and Nursing is topic for special event

Come and celebrate the connection between the Community Health Aide Program (CHAP) and the Recruitment and Retention of Alasksa/Natives/Native Americans in Nursing (RANN) on Friday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. in HSB, Room 110.

Music by Ossie Kairaiuak, a guest Yup'ik singer and storyteller. will open the event. A panel of speakers, moderated by Mary Reeve, RRANN student success coordinator, will include a special guest, Moses Frederick, a Community Health Aide Practitioner from the community of Akiachak and the Lead Health Aide for Staff.
