Monday, Nov. 7, 12-4 p.m.
UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

USUAA's Legislative Luncheon is an annual event that gives students an opportunity to meet and mingle with Alaska State Legislators. This year's luncheon will include a brief reception, panel discussion with the opportunity to ask legislators questions, and a special presentation on the University of Alaska Anchorage's engineering needs.

The event will begin with a brief reception to give students an opportunity to interact with state legislators and then lead into a panel discussion of student-generated questions regarding issues that affect the university and student interests. The final program item will be a demonstration specifically for legislators and their staff focusing on UAA's engineering needs. Students and community members are encouraged to attend for what promises to be an exciting event.
