Professor Ann Jache featured on 'Kids These Days,' Nov. 1-3
by Jamie Gonzales |
Ann Jache, professor of Sociology at UAA, joins Alaska radio program Kids These Days and guest host Kathleen McCoy this week to talk about "Siblings." C. Dallett Hemphill,
Professor of History at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and author of the recently
published Siblings: Brothers and Sisters in American History, also joins.
About the show:
Whether big sister or kid brother, one thing is true - siblings have a relationship
with one another like no other relationship in life - they are our first playmates
and the people we can remain friends with as adults. We're looking at the sibling
relationship today - how it's changed throughout history, what it means in the present
day and why it's so important through the course of our lives.
The show airs on KSKA Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., on KDLG Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m., on KRUA Thursday, Nov. 3 at 12 p.m. and is available 24/7 online.
