Nov. 9, 2011: CCEL Faculty Colloquia Breakfast Series: Paola Banchero

All faculty are invited to join us and learn about the community engagement work of your colleagues. On Nov. 9, Paola Banchero from the Department of Journalism and Public Communications, will present a documentary project with Take Wing Alaska, telling the stories of rural Alaskan students preparing for college and a transition from village to city.

The Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) presents the Faculty Colloquia Breakfast Series where faculty recipients of CCEL mini-grants report on their projects. The presentations are informal, followed by discussion about community engagement and project initiation and management for engaged scholarship. Coffee, tea and light breakfast provided.
