The 30th Annual Model United Nations of Alaska begins Thursday, Feb. 23, hosted by the UAA Political Science Department. This conference unites high school and college teams from across the state for three days of discussion and debate on the topic of "Revisiting the UN Millennium Development Goals."

The Model UN conference simulates the procedures of the United Nations. Please join us for the Opening Ceremonies on Thursday. We're pleased to have Ambassador Betty E. King, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, deliver the keynote speech.
