Phillip Miller, Kenai Peninsula College (KPC) construction project manager has become
one of just 49 people in the world to earn the coveted Educational Facilities Professional
Certification Credential. The Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA)
sponsors the credentialing program and is the professional association representing
more than 4,700 facilities professionals at 1,500 learning institutions.
Miller becomes just the second APPA-certified educational facilities professional
in the state of Alaska. The other is Chris Turletes, UAA associate vice chancellor
of Facilities and Campus Services.
