UAA represented at Anchorage Project Homeless Connect
by Jamie Gonzales |
Members of the UAA community volunteered at the 10th Anchorage Project Homeless Connect held at the Egan Center on Wednesday, Jan. 25. The Anchorage Coalition on Homelessness presents this day-long program twice each year (January and July) with the help of community sponsors and volunteers. The goal is to move our community closer to ending homelessness.
Some of the volunteers, pictured at right, included the Justice Center's Barbara Armstrong, UAA/APU Consortium Library's Kristi Powell and Justice student Heather MacAlpine.
