UAA's REU research symposium, Aug. 3

UAA's REU Student Research Symposium is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 3. Oral presentations will take place in the morning and poster presentations will take place in the afternoon. This program is housed in the Department of Biological Sciences. Each summer it engages 8-10 undergraduates, selected from UAA as well as from around the country, in hands-on research under the guidance of faculty mentors. Our program is funded by an award from the National Science Foundation.
