From Sept. 30 through Oct. 6, we observe Banned Books Week: Celebrating the 30th Anniversary
of the Freedom to Read!
The UAA/APU Consortium Library is sponsoring a display of titles that have been challenged in schools, public libraries, academic libraries and communities. We are also posting daily information about banned books on our Facebook and Twitter pages, with quiz questions featuring passages from challenged titles.
This year, we also have a contest for you to enter. Answer all 10 questions correctly in the following survey, and your name will be entered in a drawing to be held on Oct. 7. The winner receives a Kaladi Brothers Coffee card along with American Library Association Banned Books Week merchandise! (The contest is open to all UAA and APU students, faculty, and staff--with the exception of Library employees.)
