Start at Gorsuch Commons
UAA Student Activities is sponsoring I heart Kids and Cows, a 5K fun run/walk, with
support from the UAA Heifer International Club, UAA Greek Life and UAA Residence Life.
Proceeds raised by the run will be donated to Heifer International and Covenant House
Alaska.
This 5K race leaves from the Gorsuch Commons, follows a paved bike path around University Lake, Goose Lake and finishes at Fireside Cafe. Bib pick-up begins 9 a.m. Race begins at 10 a.m.
The cost is $15 (t-shirt included) for UAA students taking 6 or more credits with valid UAA ID and $20 (t-shirt included) for general public. For broke students, the entry fee is waived, but no t-shirt is included.
Go to UAATix.com to register in advance. You can also register starting at 9 a.m. on race day at the Gorsuch Commons. The first 200 people who register will receive a red cowbell.

assists homeless youth in Alaska.
