Ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner has been described as a unique blend of flamenco seared with classic rock. She got
her big break when legendary Hawaiian crooner Don Ho discovered her and put her on
his show as a featured performer. Since then, she's played shows all over the world,
including New Zealand, Japan, Canada and Samoa. She's opened for acts as varied as
Chicago, Chris Isaak and Jimmy Buffet. Catch her live and in concert right here at
UAA on Friday, Nov. 2.
Tickets are free for UAA students taking six or more credits with valid ID. General admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Buy tickets at UAATix.com or in person at the UAA Student Union Information Desk.
