Seattle-based hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, known for their electrifying live shows and expertly crafted music, broke new ground by independently releasing their debut full-length album, "The Heist." The album shot to number 1 on iTunes and debuted at number two on Billboard without the support of a traditional record label. The album's latest single, "Thrift Shop," spoofs American consumerism and currently holds a spot in the Billboard Top 40. The song's music video is about to break 27 million views on YouTube and is in heavy rotation on BET and MTV2. Their earlier single "Same Love," a song in support of marriage equality, was performed live on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." DeGeneres introduced the pair as "her new heroes." See what all the excitement is about when they play Anchorage March 29!
