'Hunger in Urban Alaska: The Daily Lives of Pantry Users' presented by Tracey Burke - Jan. 28, 2013

Monday, Jan. 28, 5-7 p.m. UAA Campus Bookstore Tracey Burke is associate professor in the School of Social Work and is the recipient of the 2011 Selkregg Community Engagement & Service Learning Award. She has conducted exploratory research to reveal the background stories of local food-insecure families and has worked in partnership with the Food Bank of Alaska. Join us to hear the results of Burke's research along with additional hunger study data that may challenge the way we think about poverty and hunger in our community.
