Help make a difference on campus! The UAA Integrated Suicide Prevention Initiative
(UAA-ISPI) invites you to attend a suicide prevention gatekeeper training for students.
This event is designed to help you recognize suicide risk and feel confident assisting
someone who may be suicidal. During the training, UAA students learn about warning
signs of suicide, how to effectively interact with someone who may be at risk for
suicide, what campus and community resources are available and what resources to recommend
to someone in need.
There are no prerequisites to take part in this training and everyone is welcome. Sign up today to join the community of gatekeepers on the UAA campus!
