DETAILS The University of Alaska Anchorage will hold a public open house on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at the UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307, 3211 Providence Drive, Anchorage, AK  99508. In addition, members of the campus master plan team will staff an information kiosk in the Student Union from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. that morning, April 3.

UAA is in the process of revising the Campus Master Plan, which will help guide development of the physical campus in support of the university's strategic and academic vision and goals. You are invited to the Open House to learn about the data collection efforts, exploration of concepts, analysis of alternatives and the approval process. Members of the team available at the open house will include Lonnie Mansell (project manager), Peter Briggs (landscape architect), Wende Wilber (urban planner, traffic), Brian Meissner (architect) and Jason Swift (architect). Click here or on the small map to see a larger version of a draft zone concept for the campus.

The master planning team will entertain questions and solicit comments and input from faculty, staff and students within UAA as well as our neighbors in the University-Medical (U-MED) District, surrounding communities and the general population of the Anchorage. This information will be used to help develop the Draft Campus Master Plan.

FEEDBACK If you are unable to attend this public open house or visit the information kiosk, we still value your ideas and input to the Master Plan Revision. To learn more about our plan and the revision process, visit our blog on the Internet at the UAA Master Plan 2013 blog.
