UAA seeks new Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs
The University of Alaska Anchorage seeks an innovative, student-centered leader to serve as Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (VCEMSA). As the university's chief enrollment and student affairs officer, the VCEMSA reports directly to the Chancellor and serves as a member of the Chancellor’s Executive Council.
Joining UAA during a period of sustained enrollment growth, the VCEMSA will build upon this positive momentum and lead the continued growth of the university, closely collaborating with academic and financial partners to assess, develop and lead strategic enrollment management plans.
UAA serves a highly varied student body, supported by a unique dual mission that spans technical training through graduate education. The VCEMSA must understand and champion a wide range of needs created by this unique mission. This leader is responsible for fostering a community that supports both residential and commuter students, in online and in person environments and is characterized by civility, belonging, safety, ethics, character education, and a strong emphasis on respect for others.
