Alumni events take place year-round, offering plenty of opportunities to reconnect, celebrate and engage with fellow Seawolves. These signature events are designed to keep you connected to the UAA community and foster meaningful relationships. Campus Summer Stroll Series
Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, noon – 1 p.m.
Rasmuson Hall lobby
Join us as we enjoy the beauty of the Anchorage campus in full summer glory. In August,
we’ll wrap up the season with a tree tour and discuss the variety of tree species
and their maintenance needs, and get insider intel from our talented grounds crew
regarding fall planting. Free parking on Fridays.

Seawolf Sessions: James Evans | Galapagos
Wednesday, Aug. 19, 5:30 p.m.
UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307
Join us for a presentation from James Evans, B.A. ’16, UAA chief of photography and
videography. Evans has a background in the U.S. Navy and a down-to-earth approach
to telling stories through photography. For this event, he’ll share his favorite wildlife
photos from a recent trip to the Galapagos Islands and talk about photography, wildlife
and the natural world. Alumni, staff, faculty, students and community members are
welcome. This event is free to attend.

UAA Spirit Run: Run Against Hunger
Friday, Sept. 25, 6 p.m.
Alaska Airlines Center parking lot
Presented by Yeti Dogs, this community run/walk brings together alumni, students,
faculty, staff and friends of UAA to support the Seawolf Food Pantry and the UAA Food
Insecurity Fund, helping ensure students have access to nutritious food while pursuing
their education. Whether you're running, walking, volunteering or cheering from the
sidelines, your participation makes a meaningful difference.
UAA alumni are invited to Howl for the Home Team at Alumni Nights with Seawolf Athletics. On these nights, alumni receive one complimentary ticket ($10 value) and up to three (3) guest tickets for $5 each by using promo code ALUMNI. Sponsored by the College of Arts & Sciences and Toyota.
Alumni and Community Art Walk
Wednesday, Oct. 14, 5:30–7 p.m.
Social Sciences Building
Beginning at the Social Sciences Building and continuing to the Fine Arts Building,
the walk is a chance to learn about the varied and beautiful UAA art collection found
throughout campus and spend time with alumni and friends.
