Food Cooperatives

The ACDC works with a number of food cooperatives in Alaska. The Fairbanks Community Cooperative Market opened a grocery store in 2013 with 26 employees and featuring Alaska grown food. It is the largest wholesale buyer of AK grown food in the state.

Other projects include the Sitka Food Co-op with operates as a grocery buying service, and Kodiak Food Co-op which is currently in the startup phase.
