Dr. Helena S. Wisniewski, Marion Porter Endowed Chair and Chair of MMLBA appeared on Alaska Public Media's Talk of Alaska on Tuesday, March 19th. She discussed Artificial Intelligence, including use cases, and the learning opportunities at CBPP.
Gӧkhan Karahan, R. Clayton Trotter and Sharon Lind authored an article published in the Anchorage Daily News. The piece opines on how long trails can have significant economic benefits, ranging from increased lodging, food and recreation spending to reduced transportation and health care expenses as folks adopt healthy lifestyles.
The College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) partnered with various Alaska Native organizations and leaders to host “Alaska Native Values in Modern Governance: A Gathering” on UAA’s campus.
To help us understand the strategic impacts AI is having on the future of cyber security, CBPP is bringing cyber expert Sean Kanuck to Alaska for a presentation on Friday, March 1 from 12-1 pm at UAA’s Gorsuch Commons.
