Our very own Project Management Chair, LuAnn Piccard, has made great strides in the Engineering world. She is currently serving on PMI's Board of Directors, as one of the 12 directors elected by the global PMI membership. This is an amazing accomplishment and we are so proud to have her leading our Project Management department at UAA. Please take a moment to read about LuAnn's amazing and ongoing work, how she continues to excel in her field, and makes sure our students flourish along beside her.

PMI Alaska Chapter Scholarship
The PMI Alaska Chapter is providing an academic scholarship to be administered by the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) Scholarship and Awards Program. PMIEF, a charitable nonprofit organization, supports development of the best and brightest future project management professionals worldwide by providing over 40 academic scholarships to college and university students studying project management and related fields.
Please visit the PMI Alaska Chapter webage for application deadlines. In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited academic degree program in project management or a related field benefiting from project management with the following order of priority:
1st Priority: A member of the PMI Alaska Chapter who is a resident of Alaska attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.
2nd Priority: Any individual residing in Alaska who is attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.
