2010 Chancellor's Awards call for nominations

UAA is making progress on many fronts, thanks to your efforts. It is important to celebrate some of those efforts by recognizing special contributions that our faculty and staff make to grow and improve UAA. Every August at Faculty and Staff Convocation we promote excellence in serving UAA with the presentation of Chancellor's Awards. Please take a moment to nominate individuals and groups you believe are great examples of the important work being done at UAA. There are seven award categories:

  • University Diversity - Individual
  • University Sustainability - Individual
  • Excellence in Teaching - Individual (New this year-- open to full-time and adjunct faculty)
  • Excellence in Research - Individual (New this year)
  • Faculty or Staff Service to Students - Individual
  • University Small Team Collaboration (fewer than 25 people)
  • University Large Team Collaboration (more than 25 people)

Current UAA faculty and staff may be nominated for these awards across campuses and units. However, employees whose primary job duties include university diversity or sustainability functions are not eligible for nomination in those award categories.
