Friday, Nov. 5, 10 a.m.

Learn directly from students how to mentor undergraduates in research and scholarship. Undergraduate students Mallory Givens (history; Developmental Changes in the Myosin Heavy Chain Expression in Harp Seals), Chuck Crew (psychology; Influence of Time of Day and Mood State on Recall of Words Associated with Emotionally Charged Autobiographical Memories), and recent graduate Leigh Coppola (sociology; Medicare Patient Access to Primary Care Services) will discuss their research, describe the impact undergraduate research has had on their lives, and give advice about what worked or didn't work with their undergraduate research experience.
